CTT: They Don’t Make ‘Em Like They Used To – Groucho Marx
I’ve never before watched a Groucho interview long enough for him to get past the old-timey schtick. This was a fascinating look into the psyche of the 20th century. Here’s a guy who’s been alive since the 1800s. He’s a very liberated thinker. Actually gets a few really funny ones in there too.

If I could have stopped cringing at the dialogue long enough to cease wincing at the awkward deliveries I may have been able to overlook my embarrassment at the storyline long enough to enjoy the cinematography.

I was in Cape Cod almost 15 yrs ago at a bar where this old guy Rocky King was playing piano and singing. He told jokes too. I have a very clear image of his hands playing this song. It was so cool it left an impression strong enough that I finally checked YouTube and of course here he is playing it in 2009 at that same bar.
He really is such an amazing pianist. This style is very very cool.
