We’re still taking our little holiday break, but we’ll be back to recording tracks in the next couple of weeks. Should be pretty exciting, yeah? We also will have some new merchandise for you to wear/show off very, very soon. We’ll let you know in a few days when that goes down.
Hope everyone had an awesome Oh Six. Oh Seven is going to make Oh Six look like a bowl of dog food.
The Geezers shindig was a lot of funn. Thanks to all of you who came out on a cold night. Thanks to the Geezers as well, David, Sam, Galo, Jeremy, and Chaz. We had a blast. We should definitely do it again.
We had our annual Xmas Party last night. Oh brother! The General took Santa’s Chair this year, as we had our largest, loudest party yet. The annual Gift Grab had some great items for the taking this year, including a homemade nativity scene, a pocketbook full of rubber mice, a Cuban cigar, silk underwear, two bongs, edible thongs, a Girls Gone Wild DVD, leather jackets, loads of boozes. What a frenzy. We should have some pics from this later in the week.
We’re still doing some construction at the Oddy, upgrading our control room, making it all Death Star and shit. It should be done this week. After that, a little break for Christmas, and then right back to work recording new tunes. If you were at the Geezers show, you heard a few of ’em. We’re really excited for everyone to hear what we have. Shouldn’t be too long.
Sam Flores. Jeremy Fish. Galo. David Choe. The London Police. All legends. But who would have thought to bring theses artists together in one place, at one time, to collaborate on a massive scale. And who would have thought to have the coolest band on the planet play a massive set of rock while these artists worked above the crowd in Portland’s Wonder Ballroom.
All signs point to The Dandy Warhols.
Yeah, so we thought we’d brings these geezers together, let ’em have at it, crank out some tunes, make a shameless shindig out of it. And, somehow, we knew you would want to see it. Honestly, though, we think it’s going to be quite historic, and if you miss it…well, what are you going to tell your kids?
Hey All,
Our touring season has come to an end.
It was a really great summer but now we can’t wait to get back into the studio. We’ve slid right back into a rehearsal schedule and I swear our songs have never sounded better. Old and new, we’re just having a blast rockin’ in our own space. The leaves are falling and the rain is in full effect, a perfect time to be indoors making rock. We’ll keep busy this winter so we can bring you some new tunes for next summer.

from Gothy:
Hey, what’s up? We have something cool going on in Portland mid December that we will be announcing any day now. It’s a show, but it’s bigger than “just” a show.” We’ll let you know all the details as soon as we can.
A lot of you have been asking where to send in the remixes and mash-ups you have made using our songs. Well, now, instead of hunting around and sending them to Gothy or The General or Zia or whomever, you can just post them to remix@dandywarhols.com, and we’ll pick ’em up from there. Can’t wait to hear what you have for us. Should be awesome.
Hey, we’re in the Bay Area this week, playing a show with Tom Petty in Berkeley on Friday, the 27th. Maybe you’ll see us lurking around The City as well, mwah haw haw.
Check it out, we’re going to be playing at The Chinati Foundation’s annual Open House in Marfa, Texas on October 7th. It’s pretty much going to be a rager.
We’re going to open up for rock legend Tom Petty for a couple of shows coming up. The first is this next week in Madison, Wisconsin at the Colesium at the Alliant Energy Center on September 12. The second show is October 27th in Berkeley at the Greek Theater. Oh yeah. Should be pretty awesome.
