Some stooge. Been runnin' things 'round here since 2000.

Holidays In The Sun

Wow, it is so nice here today, guys, you wouldn’t believe it. Reminds us of..spring? Yeah, it’s BBQ time.

And, yeah. Dig this. Time to start thinking about where we’re going to play this summer. We have some plans in the works. A lot of them we can’t tell you about until they are confirmed with the promoters, but we can tell you that we will be at Festival de Terre Neuvas in Bobital, France on July 7th and Solidays Festival in Paris on July 8th. Tickets are already on sale for these dates, so yeah, get out your wallets. More dates will be added this week. As always, be sure to check our SHOWS page for all official word on where we will be playing.

Morning After Girls

AIMEE

The Morning After Girls are in town, and it was Aimee’s birthday, so we threw the Girls a little dinner party. So great. The Girls will he here for about a week, recording some stuff, having a good time.

Hey, we have a new photo archive running. We’re not quite sure how it’s going to integrate with the rest of the site yet, we’re still working out those issues. But if you want to take a look, maybe sign up and upload some pics of us you took while we were hanging out after some show or anything like that, feel free to sign up and start uploading. Right on.

Additions

TRAVIS

Hey, what’s going on? We’re busy building again. We’ve decided that The Odditorium was missing a place people could just go and, you know, make-out, so Court decided to put someone in charge of building a make-out room. The job has gone to Travis Grassman, and it’s going to be great. We’ll let you know what it looks like when it’s done.

We also have some new shirts and stuff for you to buy. There’s this awesome long sleeve thermal that we’ve all been digging, and this great “Honey” shirt designed by Steve Birch. Check ’em out on our MERCH page. (Click on the clothing link when you get there.)

Songs are going great. Having a great time. Hope everything is groovy with you.

For You Blue

People have been asking if we are home now. Yeah, we’re home, getting the Oddy in shape to record a new record. Court already has a couple of new songs written. Funn!

We may see some of you this summer. Some plans are in the works for some festivals. We’ll let you know what, where, and when later in the spring.

Rock.

The Best Time Ever, Again

Hey. Happy New Year. 2006? What happened?

We’re having The Best Time Ever® in Australia right now. We’ll have some pics up when we get back. Meanwhile, take a look on the PHOTOS page for some shots from our American tour with The Out Crowd.

We’re going to have lots of really cool stuff for you to hear and see this year. We can’t talk about them yet, but we’ll let you know what’s going on when we can.

We’re Home

Hey. Tour was the most fun we have ever had. And that should say something. We have tons of pictures to share with you. Those should be up soon.

We’re playing a couple of shows in Portland, then we’re taking a couple of weeks off for Christmas, and then it’s off to Australia. See you all soon.

Live At Chapel

If you’re not in Australia and weren’t some of the lucky few that won tickets to see the Dandy’s play a ‘recorded for TV’ show in Melbourne called ‘Live At The Chapel’ then get on the net and check it out, sure in some parts of the world it will be in the middle of the night but include that into the mind expanding experience. The Dandy Warhol’s show will be happening before your bleary eyes at liveatthechapel.com. The madness commences in Australia Thursday November 3 at 8.30pm (AEDST). In other parts of the world like Hong Kong that would be 5.30pm, in London 9.30am and if you’re in L.A , that would be 1.30am the day before as in Wednesday.

‘Money’ Single Available For UK Download

MONEY

Our friends in the UK will be able to download our next single, “All The Money or The Simple Life Honey” starting tomorrow, Saturday, October 29th. T

There are two different versions of the single. ‘Disc’ One contains the ‘Money’ radio remix by Alan Moulder and a b-side , “Smoke it (Trippy Vox)”, which suspiciously clocks in at 4:20. ‘Disc’ Two has the same Moulder Radio MIx, with two b-sides — a cover of “My Shorona” with Sean Gothman warbling through the vocals a la Bill Shatner, and Courtney’s “Snuggly”. Individual tracks priced at £.99. Start downloading tomorrow, or pre-order today!

Set On BBC2

Hey. We’re having the best time on tour. Thanks all for coming out to see us in Europe. We can’t wait to see everyone in Australia, the States, and Canada. If you have not been able to see us yet, we will be on the Dermot O’Leary show on BBC2 Saturday from 5-7, so you can check us out there. The show also has some prizes for our fans to win, so you may want to check them out there as well. Thanks.

Lot’s of love.

The Warhols.

Pete On The Radio

Peter will host The Bottom 40 on Portland’s 94-7 this Sunday night at ten. If you are not within the listening vicinity, you can catch the show online at 947.fm.
