Michael Been (1950-2010)
We would like to extend our love, thoughts, and prayers to our dear friend Robert Been, he of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, on the passing of his his father, musician Michael Been, yesterday in Belgium at age sixty.

Sisters of Mercy were awesome last night. Andrew Eldritch marches around like a drill sergeant and sings like the coolest dude ever. Both of his guitarists are smokin too. Couldn’t get a great pic cuz they’re busy winning the award for most smoke machines. After the show Andrew assured me that they actually need more.

I just woke up from three days in Amsterdam. Notice Motley Crue on this list? Tommy took a cab from here to Amsterdam to see our show and hang out for a couple days. Apparently it cost around 500 bucks. Love that guy.
