Hey. Working on the mix. It’s going great. EARTH TO THE DANDY WARHOLS should be out before summer. Our friends The Raveonettes‘ new record, though out in Europe, will be out in our back-yard next month. Peter remixed one of their new tunes, “Dead Sound”, with our sometime engineer (and brilliant musician in his own right) Jeremy Sherrer. Catch that on RollingStone.com. Rock that for a while.
What’s the line on the big game on sunday?

Hey man. Remember that t-shirt desgin contest we had a couple months back? Turns out we got a lot of entries, but we don’t have a lot of time to devote to deciding who should win. We’re mixing our new record and getting our label organzed, so we decided to let youse guys vote on who should win. VOTE HERE. It’s probably your only vote this year that will actually mean something.

What’s up 2008. Our friend Nathan Jr is calling it 2000-NATE. You should try that one on. We all went to a party here for The Eve thrown by our friend Mattress. New bands from our friends Rick and Amy Bain, Matt Hollywood, and Brian Coates played. That’s always fun. What did you do?
We’re mixing our new record, getting the sound just right. It’s pretty much the most important part of the whole deal. So, shhhhhhh.
Grassman has the submissions for our t-shirt contest. We’re going to have you vote on what designs you think are best in the next week or so. We’ll let you know.
That it? I guess.
Ciao.

Hello to All,
The New Year is close at hand, the time for making resolutions for 2008 has come. My main ones are:
Make more time for friends and family (last year there wasn’t much at all) & Follow thru on all the great ideas the band and company came up with last year. Hopefully these two don’t contradict too much. So if all goes well there is going to be lots of excitement in Dandyland and lots of great Dandy related music, art, product, whatever heading your way!
We wish you great success in fulfilling all of your resolutions as well.
Happy New Year!
Zia

It seems some in Hollywood are saying that our tune from the movie Good Luck Chuck (single still out now on Beat The World Records) has a shot at being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song.
So who knows.

Hey, what’s going on? Just got back from South America, and yeah, we had the best time ever. Thanks for coming out in Buenos Aires and Santiago. We’ll be back. For sure.
Also, our X-Mas gig at Roseland in PDX with The Upsidedown is less than a week away, and if you have been holding off on getting tickets, you are like this close to being out of luck. Better hurry, becuase we know how you forget to do things this time of year.
Anything else? It’s cold and flu season. You should probably wash your hands like a madman. These viruses are tougher than they used to be, what with steroids and shit.
