We are still working on the full line-up for the Jan. 28th benefit. We have had The Decemberist’s Colin Meloy agree to open. I should know the rest of the line-up soon.
Thanks,
Peter

Gregg Williams
Hey. Gregg Williams can finally shave, because our new record is completely finished, and we’re now looking for a mixer. Looks like Capitol wants the first single to be a song called “SMOKE IT”. That’s all for now.

There is a ray of sunshine coming from a dark and dreary day here in Portland. This morning, Zia and Travis welcomed in Matilda Louise McCabe into the world. Says Kellie:
“Hey everyone, I wanted to pass on the news that Matilda come into the world at 5:12 this morning (Peter’s birthday). Long labor but Zia was a total trouper. Tildy Lou is 8lbs 9oz and everyone is doing well.”
We should have a photo of the lil gal and her lovely mum int he next couple days. In the meantime, enjoy this Halloween photo with Zia and Sean Gothman as Zia. Dumb, I know.

DIG is out in NY and LA this week, and lots of other places in the coming weeks. To see if it’s playing near you, check out the DIG site.
Us? We’re almost done with our new record. Clark Stiles came up to work with Gregg Williams for a few weeks, and this week, our trumpet player, Achilleas, flew in to lay some horn on some tracks. Just a couple more things, and it’s time to mix. Yum, mix

If you can believe, we came home from hot and sunny Europe to cold and rainy Portland. People are always complaining about it raining here, which we think is bullshit — rain is great. It allows you to spend more time stationary with good music and good friends. So there.
Anyway, the reason for this little blurb was not to chide those poor pluviophobic souls out there. Ondi Timoner wanted you all to see the new trailer for DIG! View it for yourselves HERE. Or THERE.
NO SHOWS WHAT?
