NO SHOWS WHAT?

This September and October, The Dandy Warhols will be playing in Minneapolis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Cincinnati, Washington, Brooklyn, Boston, Philly, Toronto, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Omaha, Denver, Boise, Seattle, and Pioneertown. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 27th (with the exception of Chicago and Pioneertown – they’re already on sale, silly.)

Because we like (almost all of) you we’re offering pre-sale tickets right now. Get ’em while they’re shiny.

Joining us in Australia will be The New Pollution in Perth (21-22 Aug); The Morning After Girls (25 Aug), Sun God Replica (26 Aug), and Freedom (27 Aug) in Melbourne; The Upsidedown in Sydney (29 Aug); The Upsidedown and Sacred Shrines in Brisbane (30 Aug); The Upsidedown in Adelaide (31 Aug); and The Upsidedown and The New Pollution (2-3 Sept) in Melbourne. Got it?? The quiz will be worth 40% of your final grade.

OH AND YOU KNOW WHAT? “They” say that Sydney and Brisbane will sell out in the next few days, so if you don’t have your tickets ya better get ’em now.

Desert Stars: Fundraising Nearly Complete

C’mon guys, if you plan to attend Desert Stars Festival, save a few bucks by buying your tix ahead of time thru the Desert Stars Kickstarter, only a week left and a couple grand to go. Do it!

Oh and if you can’t make the festival you can still help out. By choosing the donate $30 option you will get a signed Dandys poster as a thank you. You can also help by sharing this on your Facebook and Twitter and encouraging other to buy their tix this way or to donate just for the love of rock. xo

I was finally in town for the Portland branch of the World Naked Bike Ride!
I snapped a few pics which promptly got me put in time out by Facebook. Soon after, a fan pointed out that I do have a web site after all and with my rebellious nature and zeal for freedom to express I can’t help but to repost them here. Enjoy!

Well I’m real glad we got video of the day for ‘Bohemian Like You’ [yesterday on Chicagoist] but the problem is that isn’t the official video.

This actually is.

And whats worse is that Capitol/EMI didn’t even bother to find the censored version and upload it onto Vimeo/YouTube so I guess we’re stuck with people watching a randomly chopped up version of my SXSW film award winning video.

Boohoohoo.
