So Anton came by and possessed our studio for a bit before their show. Played us some more of his stuff. He also laid down a Julee Cruise style bass synth part on our new music/album/recording/whatever project. I’ll get some of that up soon, I am just very disorganized by nature and my work ethic is sporadic and of it’s own nature.

I’ve got a record called The Best of Chet Baker Plays. Well I believe it. One of the best records I own. It’s all hits pretty much. What a guy.
He lived in Portland for a while. Guess he liked to shoot dope and be left alone. Played gigs with the local cats out on NE Vancouver. He left his saxaphone with the only white jazz cat, Billy Hood. Oh, actually I guess it was the pawn shop ticket for the sax. Not the sax itself. Apparently his daughter or grandkid still has it.

Portland has a great dark history. We had the book Portland Confidential while we recorded Oddy or Warlords. It’s all about the creepy old place.
